nice version but to hear john prine sing it is to feel the despair. i do love the piano here though.

I remember being seven years old listening to this on my brother's record player back in 77. Over and over and over... Thanks, I've been looking for it for a while. Still gives me the same emotions.

Nice to hear this again,John Prine suffered from those dreadful "The New Dylan" claims - which are still plaudits that usually mean the kiss of death (harmond wintchanil for instance)
