Flying the Ama is the story of the paddlers of these magical boats and the history, culture, and tradition that they and the boats exemplify. The film explores the cultural roots of the outrigger canoe by gathering stories from the torchbearers of the tradition on many of the Pacific Islands including Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Hi friends... I paddle in Brazil, in the first Hawallian Canoe club in Niterói, a city in front of Rio de Janeiro. I would like to know how I can buy this vídeo. It shows a lot of Hawallian culture and I want to show this for the other local paddles to them feel the real feeling.
Thanks,
Douglas Moura
