  • 1st pic looks like the cover photo used in Jefferson Airplane's Crown Of Creation LP...

  • @cb3961 I'd say you were dead right.

  • I owned the album this came from way back in the day. It is hard to describe what hearing it has done but I wanted to thank you for posting this and the "Walk Away Melinda" song also. It is as touching (to me anyway) now as it was then. And, without acid flashbacks and other medicinal aids. Thank you.

  • I am glad it has brought such pleasure to you. Both songs are still as powerful today.

  • Great song and a great video to go with it.

I know this song, but than it is sung by a woman?

  • It was recorded by the composer, Bonnie Dobson. Perhaps you heard that version. I have also posted a version by Episode Six. Not as good as this but still a good version.

  • The ratbag tried to claim successfully for some years he had co-written it.Fortunately truth won out.

  • Ahead of its time - a classic tune.

  • Bonnie Dobson, who actually wrote the song, not Tim, does a beautiful version recorded live in New York in 1962. Her version is superior. It's on You Tube. listen to it. ...It's third from the top on the right here......Tim Rose claims to have written Hey Joe. Well he admits on the Jules Holland show that he heard it first in the Appalachian Mountains as a boy and simply re-hashed an old song.

  • Is this John Bonham on drums?

  • I am wondering why no one else is objecting to the segment featuring a decomposing/mutilated corpse. Youtube is full of kickass vids that totally shred and well, completely rock out. This is the only version of Tim Rose's "Morning Dew" that has needless gore. What a distasteful use of a kick ass tune. LAME.

  • @DirkjeA Clannad do a version of this song too.

  • I first thought this was hawkwind! But this guy sure has one hell of a voice. What a brilliant song!!!!

  • Cat Stevens def dug Tim Rose.

  • @Iguanaseeyou Now that's a more reasoned response. :)
