    After listening to nearly everything choral that Part has put out, I have to say that my three favorite choral pieces from Part are Da Pacem Domine, Salve Regina and Nunc Dimmitis. What a genius. He grabs your soul with his music. No other composer does it like he does.

    Thanks for posting this lovely video. I love what Arvo Paert does with melodies and accompanyment, while he seems to say it is simply a formula he applies to more normal-sounding versions he composes as an intermediate stage in his process. Whatever the process, it comes out sounding more like angels singing than just about anything else we hear. Thank God for Arvo and his evocative music.
