By default, Windows reserves a certain percentage of bandwidth for use by processes such as Automatic Updates. Tweak this percentage to your preference!

  • finally nothing about gpedit.msc

  • yeah that only works for xp pro, thisll work for home edition as well.

  • i dont think it worked. my download speed is same. was that sopose to be affected?

  • it allows windows to use more bandwidth, if your internet cannot handle more than you will not see a difference. Slow internets will also yield an unnoticable difference, but over the long term it does work!
