Ever since his wife was burned in a car crash, Dr. Robert Ledgard, an eminent plastic surgeon, has been interested in creating a new skin with which he could have saved her. After twelve years, he manages to cultivate a skin that is a real shield against every assault.
In addition to years of study and experimentation, Robert needed three more things: no scruples, an accomplice and a human guinea pig. Scruples were never a problem. Marilia, the woman who looked after him from the day he was born, is his most faithful accomplice. And as for the human guinea pig...

Yes you can watch with sub Tittles but i am just letting every one know. all you see here is about the great reviews and I dont want some one to buy it based on the reviews people need to know it is IN ALL SPANISH! thats not very clear so I am just making it clear. and subtittles are annoying some times. BUt i am learning spanish so I will prob watch it anyway

it is amazing.I normally don't check almodovar's work but this one's outstanding.They have this bisexual singer on there. lol! almodovar makes sure he checks every box during the casting process. all ingredients are on there.the morally bankrupt mom who has children by different dads, the psycho surgeon , the neurotic and crazy daughter whew 2 hours were not enough.He tackled the subject of transexuality without turning it into a caricature.Pure genius.

This film is simply marvellous. And twisted. And very weird. Like a sci-fi, romantic thriller with comedy and family drama and crime all mixed in a blender and mashed to make something wholly original and exciting. Loved it.
