Desert Ants - Count Their Way Home

Without technical assistance, orienting yourself in the desert can be exceedingly difficult unless youre a desert ant. Even after long treks out foraging for food, these insects rarely have any problem finding their way home. German and Swiss Researchers have now discovered how they do that: They count their steps. A clever experiment in Germany finds that these ants get home by counting their steps. Ants with shortened legs stopped short of their nests, while ants outfitted with stilts walked too far.

I love creationist arguments about how well "designed" life is. When they're obviously poor designed animals out there. If God wanted to make well made animals why did He make the universe such a harsh place to live? Extinct species is a perfect example of not all life is well built and 99% of all species that existed are now dead. Only reason why well built abilities exist is because advanced species are the leftover champions of the struggle. How else would champions look?
