This concept house has more than a few bells and whistles.

  • @ostapslobodian Only people who don't know what they're doing get viruses. I doubt those are the kind of people who'd move into one of these houses. An EMP would already cause huge damage; turning off our digital recipe book or wallpaper would be the least of our worries.

As for writing, I'd rather my kid could type and spell correctly than write and not spell at all (c.f. your spelling "write" as "wright, "lazy" as "lazey", "devastating" as "devistating", "used" as "use" etc.).

  • I would only want to spend a just for fun day here, not live in it!

    Part 3

And what if the power goes out?

Sure we could do things manually, but our future kids wont know how, tell be screwed.

They may not even know how to wright, only type!

Part 2 and I don't want computers and such taking it over, I want to be stuck in the 2000s (and I'm only 16! I'm talking about the late 90s and early 2000s).

Geeze, now I know how our grandparents feel! Growing up in a simpler better time, and having to put up with this change...

    Part 1

    I agree.

I would rather live in a house in the woods (and the only computers in my house would be my PC at my work desk, not my whole house).

And what happens if your compuer house got a VIRUS!? It would be "HAL 9000" all over again!

(Also, our dependence on computers makes an EMP attack more likely, and more devistating)

I guess I'm just reluctant to change, I'm so use to my old life, simple, non lazey, doing things normally and not having a computer do it for me

  • There is no more beautiful than the house in the woods with nature and animals
