@ertren6 Galactus is a force of nature. That's his status and that's why he is so infamous. Odin and Thor are aliens. They are no gods, they are aliens and they're not even powerful aliens. The Celestials are also a bunch of aliens, very, very powerful aliens and few of them stand above Galactus, while few of the others don't. The Molecule Man (even after the retcon) proved to have more power than an averagely fed Galactus, while a fully fed Galactus would clearly stomp.

@biostyle galactus has the same attributes. To say molecule man is stronger than galactus is a bit of a stretch :/. Galactus is an extremely powerful being, being on the lvl of celestials, who when all of asgaurd including thor and odin put their power into the destoyer, lost miserably too.

@ertren6 Sentry would never be allowed to defeat Galactus in the comics. That would be a ridiculous feat, because Galactus is more important to the comics than ... let's say the Molecule Man, who is actually more powerful than Galactus and Sentry still defeated him. Sentry also was destroying planets with his energy release, while he was still holding back and later on his energy was visible in the real world, while he was in the microverse. That's a huge amount of power.

@ertren6 Unfortunately it wasn't and that's a pity. It was stated twice, once by Spider-Man who admired Sentry and once by X-Man, who respected the Sentry. It doesn't count as a feat for Sentry, but I would say he has other pretty impressive feats, like easily defeating Doom multiple times and Doom won most of his encounters with the Silver Surfer, survived a blast by the Infinity Gauntlet and survived by being thrown away by Galactus himself.

Eternity, Infinity, the Celestials, the Stranger, Eon, Death, the Living Tribunal, Nemesis, Master Order, Lord Chaos, the Infinites (the current highest force, ranked above Eternity), Oblivion and a few more. Not to mention the beings on the same approximate level, The In-Betweener, the Collector, the Gamesmaster, the Shaper of Worlds, the Watchers, etc.

This a joke or what? SS is virtually invulnerable to everything. He has the power to create black holes, destroy entire planets with relative ease, he can live inside the core of a star. He can time travel, he can fold space time creating wormholes to anywhere in existence, he can also warp space time in order to travel to other dimensions. In conclusion, there is no contest here. There are maybe 3 characters inside the comic universe, Galactus, maybe Thanos, and definitely The Beyonder.
