@zingodoom Believable, I beat Kingdom Hearts 2 only with the Kingdom Key (didn't know you could change keyblades LOL), without even knowing how to Guard! xD I was such a noob back then...

everyone with the different story lines i think roxas could kill xemnas i mean the guy has 2 keyblades thats as epic as keyblade wielders can get...

@FinalFlareXD0 I don't just think, I KNOW it did. If Roxas had gone and fought Xemnas, he'd have been destroyed, and Sora would never have woken up.

Ithink all kh games without sora as main character will be all doom and gloom endings

@GoldMoleVideos This. And against Vanitas with the x-blade for Aqua and Ventus' storylines, and against Xehanort's Heartless. Losing either of those battles would have ended with the universe consumed with darkness. Losing this battle, Sora would not awaken, but Riku and Mickey, two good Keyblade wielders, are still alive. I would not quite say most important battle in the series, but it is high up there.

@priceofeggsinchina Oh I know he's supposed to win otherwise the story doesn't work it's just... actually I'm not sure why I asked that. It is a pretty obvious answer. Well I just failed there.

If Roxas beat Riku, he would have went on a suicide mission against the Organization for revenge of Xion's death. It took Sora AND Riku to beat Xemnas, Roxas wouldn't have survived, and in doing so Sora would never be able to be complete again. Roxas needed to lose, for his own good in not killing himself, and to help awaken Sora. Beating Riku would not have solved anything, and possibly left Sora to never awaken.
