I'm looking for the name of the song played here!
It's the ending video of the fantastic fanmission "Calendra's Legacy" from Purah for the game THIEF 2 from Looking Glass Studios.
This song sounds very familiar to the song "Run Rabbit Junk" from Yoko Kanno from the "Ghost in the Shell - SAC" soundtrack. Listen to the Original here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMxtI7QfpWk

The website of the creator of this THIEF 2 fanmission is down, so I cannot contact him.
I'm not sure if this song is a remix or ripoff or whatever. It has different lyrics, a different singer and different instrumentals than "Run Rabbit Junk".

Who made this remix? Where is it from originally?

I don't know, because I haven't installed Calendra's Legacy and Thief2 anymore.

Maybe it's from the Original Game Thief.

I just found this Run Rabbit Junk song on Pandora and heard the similarities instantly. Red Tape (By Agent Provocateur, from 1997's sound track to "The Jackal") was released 5-6 years prior to Run Rabbit Junk being composed for the Stand Alonie Complex, so it lokos like Yoko Kanno ripped off Agent Provocateur. I'm not normally one to cry foul for homages and inspirations, but this is a pretty obvious sound-alike.

The song is "Red Tape" from Agent Provacateur (1997) (watch?v=4HV_daszuKw), except for the first riff which is from Thief. You should update the tags.

Yoko Kanno is known for liberally taking ideas from other artists' songs (watch?v=eOy3AuB5PtI), so the uncredited similarity in sound isn't surprising.
