I love Central Florida, the beaches are sort of lonely, just some surfers and local people, you hardly find tourists. Melbourne Beach is so peaceful that you could stay seated in the lifeguard's seat for ever just seeing the sea ... we should have gone to more beaches like Cocoa, Ormond, etc. while in Winter Garden the days we didn't have a Halloween Horror Night to be at. Next time we will plan different. Anyway I have to do some research to see if there are good hotels in these places first.

  • You know, I've been a thousand times around these beaches in Central Florida, never stayed in Melbourne, i have stayed in Cocoa Beach at the Ocean Landings and Racket Club Resort which is not bad at all. Not comparable though with the Marriott's at Palm Beach. But Melbourne and Cocoa beaches are especially good for body boarding and surfing too. When I was here in this vid I was staying in Winter Garden (Orlando) 40 minute drive to Melbourne. So I couldn't tell you so much ... cont...

  • Im going to stay in a hilton hotel on melbourne beach in about 8 days! could you please tell me everything about this beach. also is it a good beach for body boarding?

  • @thebiznizboyz 2 - about Melbourne Beach as a place really, I have gone there for the day many times and gone back to Winter Garden. Depending on the time of the year I guess there is more or less people. Now it should be sort of lonely but you find your surfing mates there for sure. The environment in these beaches is so good, so relaxed, so hippie, you must go to Ron Jon store. They have every kind of surfing boards and accessories there. I always buy the whole store lol

  • @thebiznizboyz 3 - i am pretty good at swimming and enjoying nature but cannot ignore the fact that sharks are pretty close over there. In fact if you look in the web you will see that Melbourne and Cocoa beaches are the most dangerous with regards to sharks and also because of the rips. I was in Cocoa Beach once when an old man was drowning and another one also old but like a wrestler in body went to rescue him meanwhile the rescue team arrived and he had to be rescued too

  • @thebiznizboyz 5 - summary both were rescued and the first one was taken to the hospital and that night we watched 13 news and they showed the news about it and informed that finally the man died. Despite of the above, I am just letting you know about the rips and sharks so that you don't go to far away, the place is great. Hope you enjoy your vacation!!!!! how much I envy you now !!!! I wish I were there. Last, they have some nice hamburgers right there (Wendy's) i guess. Enjoy!!!!

  • I love Melbourne Beach!!, a year ago, we moved and sold our house in Indiatlantic Ocean Crest Condos to Los Angeles. As beautiful as LA may be, I still miss Melbourne. I might move back and transfer to Florida Institute of Technology, which is only 2 miles away. All of Brevard County is gorgeous, especially near the long board surf shop and the Starbucks... Next time you go, visit Indiatlantic!;)

  • @msthomassen did you guys see any sharks?
