@EvilNerdProductions WELL SAID MATE..SH was a great show to watch..i love the period stuff made on the beeb yrs back..Peter Cushing & Nigel Stock in the BBC adaption were very good..I'm a huge Cushing fan from his days in Hammer Studios..He worked on some real classics back then..Jeremy Brett is the best Holmes in my humble opinion..He was so funny in the role..

really glad i happened upon ur channel my friend..massive SH's fan & also great memories abound from Keith Floyd vids..he was a legend in IRE..i remember watchin his show when i was a kid..brilliantly funny guy..always had a glass of plonk ready..that's prob why the irish took him to heart..DRINK!!!

@StutleyConstable Exactly! You beat me to it, StutleyConstable. Furthermore, they DID know how to manipulate photographs back in the late 19th century too. True, the art of it wasn't exactly common knowledge (to put it carefully. This was, after all, in the days of the dry plates. Film only started to creep in around 1885- to '90...), but some were actually pretty damn good at it...
