Here we can see the zealot protestors (kanayim, kitzonim) protesting the schoolkids as they leave school. We also see the kids in all of their so-called immodesty, actually conforming to religious modesty norms. We also see in this video that the group defending the school and its kids includes a wide variety of religious people, both dati'im and chareidim, all of whom are defending the schoolkids against the zealots.

why are they picking on kids? why not stand outside a supermarket or somewhere and take on the adults? or outside a nightclub in tel aviv for that matter. are they really that cowardly?? the clothes, the hair, the rocking, the baying....frankly, one of the weirdest things i've ever seen

Can I just point out as a chareidi resident of beit shemesh that I side with the girls. Most of us do here. What you are seeing are what are called "kanayim" and they are all looked as as trouble makers within their own community, fringe and out casts. I don't have one friend in the area of beit shemesh that I live in that condones this behavior. Not all chareidi people are messed up in the head. It's unfair to say this represents the tens of thousands of the chareidi population of beit sheme
