This is a fairly rare little "Terz" guitar, meaning that it's tuned a third higher than standard tuning (i.e. the open 6th string is a "G"). The guitar is strung with the "upper strings" from a 12 string acoustic guitar string set, and is in "Nashville tuning" with two strings tuned an octave higher than usual. It's an all mahogany body, with a fine thick mahogany neck, wonderful open Grover tuners, and a lovely Adirondack spruce face.
Nice playing -- "Over the Hills and Far Away" sounds very different on a terz, but still very cool.

Sweet little guitar... and played well. It's meant to be tuned a step and a half up from a full sized guitar.
Nashville tuning is for a full sized guitar but it is like using the octave strings of a 12 string set... that is, EADG an octave higher than a regular set but the B and e strings tuned the same as a regular set.
