Ok, so this was our first ride since the hunt (because she tore a muscle in my chest when loading to go home!), and that was 8 weeks ago! Also our first ride of 2012 AND our first ride trying out the sweet iron tom thumb bit, with copper inlay and copper rollers.
Ladina has a VERY fussy mouth and Ive really struggled, trying god knows how many over the last 6months! Her teeth are fine (now!), I had them done, along with her back and tack when I first got her. So it isnt pain related.
Anyway! This is the first bit she has really settled with, and I am over the moon with it!! Obviously there is tons of room for improvement, but considering this is her first time under saddle in 8weeks I think she was fab, and the bit made SO much difference!
As for the two saddle pads, this is because her current saddle is too wide. I have a saddle fitter coming this week to try others (this one is super uncomfortable for me too!) So yeah, that'll be good :D

@BionicLeah I red the description before watching the video but I thought you rode her well , I too have a horse with a fussy mouth and its hell at times! But im glad you have found something that is working for her :) I look forward to watching your many "moments" ~ Haha Goodluck in 2012 with her :D x

@muffin2291 Thanks :) If you read the description you'll understand why she was argumentative, lol. She's only 6, this was her first ride after 8weeks off and this was her first ride in a new bit too :) She rode very well, all things considered! She is a moody mare though, and we have plenty "moments"! Haha.
