How to install and play DOS games on the command prompt

OLD DESC:Please read! -- How to install DOS games on the command prompt in Windows XP and vista. I install lemmings in this video. You may notice that the mouse is different once lemmings is loaded. Why you ask? Simple. During recording, I recording lemmings off of DOSBOX. DOSBOX is a DOS emulator. Why did I use it? Because when the command prompt loads the game, it goes into full screen, and hypercam2 can't record in full screen. Don't worry. Lemmings will still work. There will just be no sound, and a funny resolution. If you want to run it with sound and the correct resolution, please subscribe and message me ;)

Here are the steps

1) Create a folder in Local disk C named Dosgames.

2) Insert your Lemmings game, or download it off of the internet (message me for the link).

3) Make a new folder in dosgames called lemmings, and place all of the files in there.

4) Open the command prompt.

5) Type c:\dosgames\lemmings\install.exe and you will be taken to the installation screen.

6) Choose EGA, VGA, or exit installation. It is recommended you choose VGA.

7) You will be asked to type in where the files exist. Type c:\dosgames\lemmings\

8) It will ask to overwrite the directory, say yes.

9) On the screen that looks like the previous one, just press enter to create c:\dosgames\lemmings\original\.

10) You will be asked to type Lemmings to continue. So type lemmings.

11) The game has now started. Have fun! ;)

NOTE: Windows 95 has a DOS prompt, allowing you to play this game w/o dosbox perfectly. Windows 98 is harder to do this though.

@Valientlink Well for some games that has installing bug on dosbox, the best is to use the command prompt, Like Street Fighter II
