@sanluisskywatch humans are forecasted to double, we have a breaking point. Also more habitats cut down and countless other species are becoming extinct, which we also rely on some. Why push the limit, take care of those we have here first too, many dont have basic needs met.
Also $300,000 to raise a kid today. BTW I served in the Peace Corps helping with many humanitarian issues from needy in food backs, habitat, food not bombs, camp easter seal, etc. I ve donated thousands to uncef (take note religious people, giving to churches does little to no good) and animal/vegan groups like mercy for animals that benefits humans more than most human issues, they are connected. Helps our health care, environment, billions of mammals and even reduce hunger alot!
Overpopulation isn't the problem- we have plenty of room if we would use the land more wisely.. also, the elite are using much more than they need, and are creating a huge amount of waste doing so. One elite produces 10,000 times more waste than someone living in an eco-friendly house, not a consumer..
Take Al Gore for example- guy claims we all need to cut back right? He has 7 houses and doesn't give a shit...
All scarcity is on-purpose. There is plenty for everybody.
