I need help when I put in my disc and close it and then it says open tray what do I do it doesn't read it

At first my problem was it couldn't read DVDs now the problem is it wont read the 2nd la noire disc it says play cd instead of play game any tips or thoughts on wat could be the problem

mate dunno if you still have a problem with your 360 open disc tray but if you have a way to get round it and play games again while your trying to sort out getting it fixed by a pro. well if you have downloaded any demos play one for bout 5 mins to 10 mins or just do a mission on it then quit the demo then open your disc tray if it dosent read open it again if it still dosent work turn ur 360 of then start it up again and open disc tray it should read the game

if ur disc is fked up... u can always rent another 1 and put the bad disc tht u had before in there:)... saved me about 54$

ya mine does on certain games, if i does it to all games, then its prolly the motor, if it only does it to certain games, then its the laser being dirty
