  • If you listened to these people weep and cry over Ted Kennedy, using his death to push their agenda, you would think he's a saint - until you look at his life and see what sleazebag he was (speaking of killing people). No it's not the little guys' fault - it's the politicians, almost every one of them. I don't mind paying taxes for national defense or infrastructure, but healthcare is a state issue. These current problems were caused by the government so why trust them to fix their corruption?

  • What you don't see is that all politicians are crooked, including the democrats. Why do we have 36,000 pages of tax code? Because politicians add onto and amend it to line the wallets of their friends and themselves and try to hurt their opponents. This bill, like the tax code and the "stimulus" is just a power grab designed to give money to organizations like Acorn to ensure perpetual dominance. I don't like either party, but you're blind if you can't see these people for what they are.

  • Oh, government handouts! Back to the '70s. We wouldn't want to give anything away because the country is chock a block full of dead beats and do nothings, right? Who only care about sneakers and big TVs, right? Well, where I come from, he who smelt it, dealt it. I don't mind paying taxes. What I do mind are crooked Fat Cats who buy off Repugnitan politicians who in turn make it out that the little guy is at fault. It's not the little guy at fault, it's the Fat Cats who are killing us.

  • The opponents of this bill adore the Bush style expletives to describe it. "horrendous KOOL AID" like helping fellow Americans is some work of the devil. Because the thing is not exactly the way Orrin Hatch of Mormon Utah would like it's "horrendous". This thing has been festering since Teddy Roosevelt. The Repubnitans did nothing when they had majorities in the Reagan years, The Clinton and Bush years and now they want to foul the waters again. Insurance companies are crooks, face it.

  • I'm sure you will enjoy the government handouts funded by money taken from me via taxes so you can get free things you have not earned. It must be nice to just vote democrat every election and wait for free things to fall in your lap. After all, checking that box every election cycle is a lot easier than working, isn't it? By the way, how's that hope and change working out for you?

  • Yeah I can think of more ways of hurting - Obama, Pelosi, and Gore. Gore talks about carbon emissions and shows up in his Prius when he knows cameras will be on him. Otherwise he drives a Suburban, flies his private jet, cruises in his huge houseboat, and has a house that uses more power in a month than most do in a whole year. He obviously doesn't really care about the junk science because he knows it's a farce. Obama and Pelosi - I think history will show their stupidity.

  • You must love that Kool-Aid. That bill is a horrendous piece of legislation and does will end the end hurt our country and economy. I don't like insurance companies any more than the next guy, but if you think this bill is the answer you're either ignorant or lack common sense (or a combination of the two). This, like the "stimulus" package, is no more than a payback to those who got the most recent batch of crooked politicians elected and designed to keep them in power - not help people.

  • I heard he was an independent, he's a piece of tripe regardless, but that's what Iv'e heard. He voted with republicans on health care and global warming anyway, he wont be missed. BTW did you see the pathetic ad his opponent ran on him in 2008? He must have thought all Alabama citizens are dumb and eat dirt! lol Hilarious!

  • This fool actually said, "I believe our nation is at a crossroads and I can no longer align myself with a party that continues to pursue legislation that is bad for our country, hurts our economy, and drives us further and further into debt". WTF!!! Is this guy changing party's or trying to confuse us? Sounds more like he just called out the GOP. He's been a wolf in Democrat's clothing for far too long. Good riddance!

  • Yeah, thanks for hurting. Can you think of ways of hurting more? Join the party of Roy Cohen, Senator Joe McCarthy, Dick Nixon and the Christmas Bombings. Join the party of Henry Kissinger and J.Edgar Hoover. Watergate break-ins and Haliburton. Go, hurt more.
