When you harm the environment, you deprive other people of property (Health, land, etc.). Protection of property and restitution for destruction of private property is the foundation for capitalism.

  • TAA was only glad because he had somebody more qualified to go up against a guy like HTWW. Frankly, though, I would expect HTWW to hold his own, even against Thunderf00t's. TF is rather overconfident with and arrogant towards everybody he disagrees with, even when they aren't creationists and he isn't the "expert". I'm sure ShaneDK will beat the snot out of him if he bashes the free market anymore.

  • "I'm sure ShaneDK will beat the snot out of him if he bashes the free market anymore."

    that's for damn-sure

  • Yeah, right, that won't happen in a million years. ShaneDK and Tf00t are somewhat youtube buds, so if ShaneDK did respond, which he probably won't, he wouldn't "beat the snot out of him."

  • Tf00t HAS made a video making baseless attacks against capitalism before, and Shanedk HAS responded to Tf00ts baseless attacks against capitalism.

  • Yes they could buy water sources, but turns out people generally take better care of their own resources. For example if they want to make profit from water sources they own, they will have to keep at least some of it clean so as to rent out for fishing or swimming or sell for drinking. Other sources they might want to pollute if they need a place for their garbage, so long as it doesn't contaminate people's drinking water which would infringe their right of self ownership(unless they agreed).

  • I'm not blaming libertarian philosophy for anything. My point is no country follows any political philosophy word for word so saying that a certain country isn't truly of X philosophy because it didn't adhere to every single policy of X philosophy is a No True Scotsman fallacy.

  • If my understanding of capitalism is right then the idea that under capitalism corps couldn't pollute water because other people use it is while not completely wrong , misleading. Capitalism is based off of private property rights, in a purely capitalistic society waster sources would be privately owned. Corps couldn't pollute them unless they owned them. But then im sure that coprs would in fact buy water sources.

  • Ummmm an society in which people are being forced to "relocate" isnt a libertarian one, you cant blame libertarianism because it was irrelevant to the time period.

  • And I salivate for it!

  • Yes, he did mention for ten seconds (I timed it) that people should subscribe to his channel, he did start off his critical video with the title "Why People Laugh at Thunderf00t", a parody of TF's own creationist bashing video titles. If that isn't a line of ownage, I don't know what is.

And yes, I could consider a video correcting all the stupid things TF said as "beating the snot out of him". As arrogant as TF is, it doesn't take nearly as much to do so.

  • I'm aware of that, which is why I said he PROBABLY won't. Plus, he didn't "beat the snot out of him," since he spent the first 30 seconds of the vid response basically jerking off to how awsome Tf00t is and said that everybody should be subscribed to him. Reading comprehension, get some, son.
