@steelhauler18 I see just as many people do their corners as much one way as the other....when we had a haynines we did it the same was...actually i see more people cut the corner like this guy than pulling out and circling left..

you call that old fashioned? I'd be proud of that set up, you were making hay pretty well. Try doing it with a sickle bar and then going back over it with a hay crusher... tell me how your ass feels then! haha.

Haven`t mowed much hay have you?? Raise up your mower and circle to your left at the end of your swath....that way the end of your sickle on the haybine don`t plug up like it did in the video when you turned and then had to raise it to get it unplugged. (this will also create less stress on the u-joints on your pto shaft if you aren`t going to shut it off when you turn). Nice video though......loved the older machinery and the old style music when well with it....good job!!

I use a 1962 D-17 with my 1958 J.I. Case 140W baler.

It's good to see that old baler work. We had an old New Holland baler that put the bales out on their side too.
