I got mine off of ebay for $499 still with the IBM warranty on it ^.^

When I look at the Windows Experience Index for the X60 the results are:
Calculations per speed: 4.7
Memory (RAM): 4.7
Grahphics (Aero): 3.5
Gaming Graphics: 3.1
Primary Harddisk: 4.3
I do not game on this laptop (aside from some simple tablet pc games) so I can't inform you well on that. The windows Experience Index suggests that it nog as yet optimal for gaming. Perhaps the X61 has a better processor for gaming.
I hope this has been of some help.

Hello genesis971. Sorry for the late reply. I was on camp for a couple of days.
I am not familiar with DX but at the time I bought it, on the european market, it cost over 2100 dollars. At the time the marketprice in the US market was 1500 US dollars.
I do not have experience with the gateway computer, all I no is there is a better tablet than the X60 in the Lenovo brand. It is called the X201 (t). The X60 is not produced any more.

gonna be getting a laptop soon for uni ..how much better is this than the hp tablet..and also does anyone know what the biggest screen size you can get is ?
soccerloverkiran 3 years ago
It's better in that it has less vectoring issues because of the dedicated capacitative screen and pen. But it also has a combined resistive and capacitative screen. 12.1 inches is about the largest currently. For practical purposes I wouldn't go larger than 13 inches. Larger is nog practical. You could better switch to a Surface.
