Festering Wound + Hydrogen Peroxide = Fun Bubbles!

Note: You should probably not watch this while eating.

I had never poured hydrogen peroxide directly on a wound before and was skeptical about friends saying it would bubble up. I decided to do a test.

It actually didn't hurt as badly as I thought it would - I think the scab helped protect me somewhat. The injury is a couple days old so it's not like it was an open cut. It looks really gross though, huh?

everyone knows that peroxide is not painful when poured onto wounds; it is alcohol that is painful. it is not as painful as pulling off a scab with a toothbrush haha. most children have had peroxide poured onto their wounds. this doesn't look gross; it is only a chemical reaction between the peroxide and the catalase in your wound.

@edavis51907 Yes it does. I kills the bacteria and other harmful things that got attached to your wound when you scraped it, fell on it, etc. When you add the peroxide, the bacteria tends to cling to the wound and makes it burn.

WHY DID I WATCH THIS

gets some food grade 35 percent and put a few drops in a glass of purified water, and drink it, repeat a few times a day.
