This is a green treefrog, Hyla cinerea, calling in a small wetland near Gainesville, Florida. Male frogs call to attract mates and defend territories.

  • yes, it would die if it popped somehow, CanJ0n. It wouldn't pop because they have a special skin down there that stretches as they call. It would only pop if someone stupid enough took a needle and popped it.
