David Bowie - Bradford 1973 - Width of a Circle

David Bowie Bradford St.Georges Hall 1973. Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. This was my first semi-successful attempt at photographing a live band. The camera was a 35mm compact. The kind you see littering the stalls of car boot sales. I had to just guess the exposure settings, and the slides were a stop dark (underexposed), but the film was Ektachrome which has quite fine grain, and with modern scanning technology I was able to salvage these images. You DO get a feel from these for what it was like to be there. I have overdubbed Width of a Circle from a different contemporary concert. Hope you enjoy them. Thanks for the awesome pictures! Amazing. That reminds me, I should look to see what I can do with my Glass Spider Tour pics (1987?). I was on the ground of the Miami Orange Bowl for that one. My distance was pretty far from the stage, at night with a crappy camera. It was my first db concert, but I had been trying to see him since the mid '70's.
