I saw the engine parked at Orlando Kaley Yard with its light on, and what stood out was it looked like a black color scheme. As it headed my way, I wondered if this was a Seaboard Coast Line engine that escaped the paint shop. Not sure what to think, other than maybe a number of units are in the repair bay and this is a reserve. Here's an Easter Egg. At the end of the vid, the cars parked on the siding between Drennan and Pineloch are passenger cars for the Ringling Brothers Circus!

  • Where does cars on the siding part of the RBBX?

  • Nice catch by you too! The have been parked there for at least three weeks. I took some shots of the cars parked. The Ringling Bros. Circus will be at the Amway Arena in a few days, and there are maybe 20 or so sleeper/passenger cars on the siding between Pineloch and Drennan.

  • I think they have been there longer cause I drive by and see them on orange ave.

  • Perhaps they were brought up after Thanksgiving? I know in distantsignal's vid he showed the train arriving in Tampa after Thanksgiving, so I wonder if they split off a portion and left them here since we are likely the circus' first stop? I watched a number of people with laniards on walk past my area while waiting for 5967 to pass by, and I assume they worked on the train.

  • @ssgogeta29 we got some on the locals on the NO&M sub

  • Not with a B40-8 LHF leading.

  • omg, i underestimated how boring that train was!

  • b40-8 was a NS but CSX brought 6 from NS to do local and trailer van train

  • Nice, it looks like a frmr NS B40-8! Cool, can't find to many of them anymore.

  • id fall aslep

  • What a tragedy of a video. Even the switch is misaligned! The only thing worse would be if a head and shoulders popped up over the building and this was somebody's layout! : ) Just kidding of course. Did anyone count the cars?

  • I thought it was actually comical. Although as smartassstevie said they are probably to haul maintainence equipment, you can see the rails on them at the end. I think they should have put a box car on the end just for laughs.

  • those cars that are being pukked are for carrying railroad maintenance equipm, ent for either rail gangs or tie and surffacing gangs.

  • It was not all that boring as i imagined
