for games use lxde is faster then anything if you are gamers anyways fuck kde im a gamer so i use performance and slow shit

Well, actually, you can install KDE on Ubuntu, so you have the default Gnome and on the login screen you can select the session mode to KDE if you want to. I tried it a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty buggy. That was the 3rd chance I gave to KDE 4 but... I can't see why it's better for the user than 3.5. It can be as efficient as you want, but if I spend 6 minuts fooling around trying to find the app I want to launch... YOU FAIL. I'm too lazy sometimes to use the terminal or ALT+F2.

Yeah, he means Kubuntu, since Ubuntu uses Gnome, not KDE :P
