@Kailoa36 true, although to be honest, I doubt very much that he genuinely 'tried on' atheism. I think he added that preface to give himself some kind of high ground, so he could claim to have seen the flaws within. He sounds like a smug prick to me.

you guys rock

@Kailoa36 said in the video already~

The writer's claim that he "tried on atheism" and didn't like it is like some guy putting on a dress for 5 minutes and then saying, "OK, now I understand women." Gong! Big failure. But hey! We have a great consolation prize for you: Ridicule.

i want matt to say :screw you guys , im going home

@ChipArgyle precisely--but like most big businesses, they are gonna fight tooth and nail to retain their hold on the mindless masses -- the all mighty dollar will always win out over common decency in these types of situations....
-
@sepiasiren You nailed it. What do they have to gain by doing that? Collection fees on Sundays. It's just another big business. Tax it to kill it.
-
@ThePoiuytrewq232 Apparently you didn't watch the video. My post is a sarcastic response to the reporter mentioned in the video. There might be some truth in there as well :) Cheers!

@ChipArgyle that is how they control the minds of the masses. We are all evil sludge you see and we need a Supreme being of greater good to scare us straight--a crock of nonsense, other wise we would be out raping pillaging and killing up one another on the daily--we live in a Christian nation and none of these things have been abolished in site of belief in a Higher Power...just sad
I checked my atheism in for the weekend and went Christian again for a change. It was odd being instantly sexist, racist, bigoted, and condemning the heathen non-believers to an eternity of hell.

All theists incorrectly believe that their holy books contain morality. They don't. There's a big difference between obedience out of fear of the ultimate punishment and considering the ramifications of one's actions and then choosing the path of least damage/ most good.
That article was completely disingenuous.
