Fun No-Stirrup Jumping Lesson On PJ (and sister's fall)!

No criticism please, was just a fun lesson, and it was a long time ago xD I just watched this for the first time in a long time (8/06/10), and I must admit, my riding was pretty messy during this time!

Anyways, we had a great lesson at the riding school I used to ride at on Tuesdays. It was a no-stirrup lesson, so we used ponies and did 2 jump courses, and no-stirrups Chase Me Charlie! Until my sister fell off. So we did one more round and took our stirrups back. It went up to about 2ft9, no higher because PJ was tired and started to struggle.

No criticism please. This lesson reflects none of the riders actual abilities because we decided to just have fun. It wasn't about getting it right.

pj is a lovely horse u did good riding him hes a lazy horse though he threw someone off!! at cross country he charged and then stopped and she flew over the top of him hehe

CLASS!!!! I love cantering and jumping with no stirrups!!! But I HATE trotting without stirrups lol

I wouldn't have survived doing that! I can jump most things with stirrups but when I have to take them away I just cant go high, or go from canter to trot without having to grab onto the saddle momenterally! :L

@BethanHorseMad To be honest I'm pretty bad at it now! For some crazy reason I used to love doing this, but now I really dislike no-stirrup work xD
