Is it difficult to get this record at second-hand record shops in USA?

i love this...music and photos...you tube has certainly brought a lot of beauty to the world....we are all our own disc jockeys and people come up with so many unique ways to present their favorites..

My grandfather was Louis Speyer. I just found this and I wanted to write and thank you ! One of the great things about being a recorded musician is they never really die. One can always keep them alive by listening to their music.
Again, thanks so much.
Renée Speyer

That's the only record in which Biggs played celesta.

Charming!
Was this recorded before Biggs signed on with Columbia?

Justinhartz, This was is first issued in 1947. I don't know what year Biggs signed with Columbia, sorry. I'm very pleased you enjoyed it-thank you for watching.

Very well done, from the photos to the excellent close-up of the record label.
Did you have a fan running which may be adding slight breeeze noise?
Interesting hearing the record on that machine.
Does the needle wear the record?
Thank you.

RWG, Thank you for your kind words. The slight his is the recording itself accentuated slightly by the camera microphone.
The record would wear if I continued to play it on the Granada, but I felt one play wouldn't damage it. I should have used a fibre needle actually!
