I went back to my old Sony Handycam for this video. I haven't used this camera since June of 2009 but now I will be using both this one and my JVC. I believe this one is better in quality now that I stream with a firewire and not USB (USB streams with very low quality).
It was 30 degrees and I had no tripod tonight so please bear with me on the shaking guys.
This was the first time i've ever seen them run two trains at once here on the Arkansas Midland. Im not sure why they did this. First you see an AKMD employee work the switch then gets into AKMD 703 and moves LWF towards town. Immediately after that, AKMD 908 also moves LWF with AKMD 918 and about 10 cars. It was very nice to hear the Nathan K5H and the Nathan K5LA being blown at the same time. They really made a ring thru town. I only filmed the engines going by on the 2nd train because my fingers were frostbitten and I couldn't take it any more. They moved AKMD 703 to the spur and took AKMD 908's train to Potlatch to perform its switch job.
