@jamesoblivion You are referring to Laveyan Satanists, who claim not to believe in the Devil. Theistic Satanists do exist, and do believe in a deity or fallen angel.

Cherrypick songs all you want...for every honest-to-badness, sincere, True Believer, devil-worship song you can point to, I'll point to a thousand that use Satan as a hedonistic symbol. So yes, the people who truly believe in, and worship an actual Satan are indeed far less inclined to start rock bands.
Not that any of this matters, since there is no Satan.

@TheAustinJack For clarification, Satanists don't believe in an actual Satan. It's just a symbol to them. So no, it's not like Christian rock. Unless Christian rockers don't actually believe that Christ exists.
