The way we get by series 1.01

Brooke Haley and Peyton have been bestfriends all their lives.
They're the most popular girls in school, but when it comes to love they take a very different approach.
Brooke Davis is the most confident, beautiful girl in tree hill, and she loves her friends to death. Haley James on the other hand, is really shy when it comes to guys. She's had a crush on Lucas all her life, but never has the guts to do anything about it. Peyton Sawyer has never really shown any interest on anyone, or so they think.
Nathan, Lucas, Tim, Skills and Chris are all best friends as well, they're the hottest guys in school, and they're all available. Nathan is bestfriends with Haley, and he's the only guy she isnt shy around.

- 1.01 : first chapter of the rest of our lives.
Its the beginning of the year,and the girls are throwing a beach party. Brooke and Peyton suggest Haley wear something a bit more revealing for lucas.
Brooke tries to make sure Lucas goes and Peyton finally gets Haley to go see Lucas at his cafe.
He ends up asking her out to the beach party.
After the mall, Brooke and Peyton met up with Tim and Nathan as usual, but Nathan has been acting weird around Brooke.
Nathan finally goes up to Peyton and tells her his real feelings towards Brooke. Peyton is shocked, but agrees when he asks her for help.
Brooke picks peyton up to go to the party and asked her why she's not wearing the outfit they picked. Peyton says she's not in the mood.
Peyton's mind seem somewhere else the whole night,even whiletalking to haley.
Later that night Brooke see's Haley and Lucas walk together, and Nathan finally gets the courage to go up to Brooke, but he doesnt say anything. After taking a swim, she goes up to Lucas and asks how it went. He said it went great, and that Haley is beautiful. Haley watches from afar, and is so grateful she has such a great friend in Brooke.
