Funeral service of Janise Joseph-Woodard and and her son Josiah Woodard on July21, 2007, Ocala, Florida. They were killed when a plane crashed into their home in central Florida.

Snow's Funeral Ministry in Ocala, Florida did the funeral. Many have been asking about this, so here is the information.

First off how are you? I don't know how you all do it there but, here almost every funeral home high steps especially in the black communities. Families pay for the funeral home that gives the best shows well, I should say presentations. Its not embarrassing here mostly every family i've talked with said, "they were please with the services they were given by everyone of these funeral homes." JOB WELL DONE PHELIX KEEP ON HIGH STEPPING.

I am white and played music for a lot of years, I know a lot of black people and I have been to funerals for several black people. Most all the services were similar to this one. I have to say all the ones I attended were very, very comforting, uplifting music to the extent you know the spirit done got there and there was no doubt that the person made their journey home.  In my opinion that is the very best way to go out and the best kind of final memory to have of the deceased person.

KEY: "families give their money to the funeral that gives the best show" sounds VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... They should be paying to make sure their loved ones are laid to rest with the proper respects instead of someone putting on a show...
