NEW CHARACTERS - pinyin - tone - meaning

愛 （Simplified: 爱） - ai - 4th tone - love

媽（Simplified: 妈) - ma - 1st tone - Mommy

的 - de - neutral tone - possessive particle

喜 - xi - 3rd tone - to like, happy

歡 （Simplified: 欢） - huan - 1st tone - cheerful, joyous

老 - lao - 3rd tone - old, aged

虎 （Simplified: 虎） - hu - 3rd tone - tiger

GRAMMAR:

Add 的 (de) to nouns/pronouns to make them possessive. But you don't need it if the relationship is close!

Basic Chinese sentence structure is SUBJECT - VERB - OBJECT.
Example: 我愛你。Wo3ai4ni3. I love you.

WHAT YOU CAN SAY NOW：

1） 我愛你。wo3ai4ni3. I love you.

2） 我很愛你。wo3hen3ai4ni3. I really love you.

3） 你愛我。ni3ai4wo3. You love me.

4） 你愛我嗎？ni3ai4wo3ma? Do you love me?

5） 我喜歡你。wo3xi3huan1ni3. I like you.

6） 我喜歡你的媽媽。wo3xi3huan1ni3de ma1ma1. I like your mom.

7） 你的媽媽愛我的老虎。ni3de ma1ma1ai4wo3de lao3hu3. Your mom loves my tiger.

8） 我的老虎很好。wo3de lao3hu3 hen2hao3. My tiger is really good.

9） 我的老虎很喜歡你。wo3de lao3hu3hen2xi3huan1ni3. My tiger really likes you.

10）我媽媽的老虎愛你的媽媽。wo3ma1ma1de lao3hu3ai4ni3de ma1ma1. My mom's tiger loves your mom.

11） 你好， 老虎！ni3hao3, lao3hu3! Hello, Tiger!

12） 你的老虎OK嗎？ni3de lao3hu3 OK ma? Is your Tiger OK?
