The Haunting, Chapter Eighteen

~Next morning
Miley: [She's still sleeping in Joe's bed]
Joe: [He crawls on top of her, staring at her, awaiting her awakening.]
Miley: [Still asleep, she feels someone staring at her, but ignores it]
Joe: [He can't take it any longer. He smacks his lips against hers.]
Miley: [Her eyes close tighter, and she groans as she rolls on her stomach]
Joe: [He groans.] Mileyyy..
Miley: [She groans again, and wants to sleep] Go awaaaay...
Joe: [He leans his head toward her ear.] I wanted to make our engagement night romantic, but I let you sleep..
Miley: [She rolls back the way she was before] I was too tired I know...
Joe: So now, I want you to go to school, and you're tired..
Miley: [She stays there for a second, and then groans and rolls on her stomach again] I don't wannaa!
Joe: [He slowly glides his lips along her neck.] Any way I can convince you?
Miley: [She gets chills, and doesn't answer]
Joe: Please? For me?
Miley: [She sighs, and sits up] Fine, fine... Give me 5 minutes [She says while rubbing her eyes]
Joe: I don't wanna wait five minutes, love.. [He pouts.]
Miley: [She laughs a bit] Give me 5 minutes to get up, kay? I gotta take a shower, change and that stuff, but first give me 5 minutes..
Joe: Five minutes.. Five minutes where I can do this? [He slowly connects their lips together.]
Miley: [She giggles as she kisses back, then pulls away] Just go Joseph! [She says smiling]
Joe: [He smirks and runs downstairs]
Miley: [She stops smiling, and plops back on the bed, trying to fall asleep again]
Joe: [Peeking in the room, he smiles.] Mileyyyy...
Miley: [She fell asleep again]
Joe: [He tries to mimic her in a very girly voice, loud enough to wake her up.] Oh my God, Joe, five more minutes.
Miley: [She lifts her head up, and glares at him]
Joe: [He smiles] I love you
Miley: [She still glares at him] Run...
Joe: Are you sure? [He smirks]
Miley: Run before I kill you. [She sits up on the bed, giving him a scary look]
Joe: I have the speed of a puma..
Miley: And I have the power of MYSELF. [She runs to the door]
Joe: [He darts downstairs and sits on the couch.]
Miley: [She smirks because her plan worked, and he left. She goes back to the bed, and falls asleep, not minding if she's gonna be late for school]
Joe: [Getting aggravated, he sighs and walks back upstairs.] Miley, please..
Miley: [Her face is on the pillow, and she's asleep once again]
Joe: [He begins raising his voice] MILEY!
Miley: [She groans] Go away..
Joe: Miley, no school and no marriage.
Miley: [She sits up quickly] WHAT?!
Joe: [He shrugs] I won't marry you if you don't go to school.
Miley: [She gets tears on her eyes]
Joe: [He opens his arms for a hug as he leans against the frame of the door.] Will you go?
Miley: [She looks down, sort of hurt] I know you're kidding. I'll go anyways but... You don't have to say you won't marry me. [She grabs her backpack, and walks out past him, bumping her shoulder on him]
Joe: [He catches up to her swiftly, wrapping his arms around her.] I'm sorry love.
Miley: [She sniffles as she wipes her tears while still walking downstairs] It's okay..
Joe: [He smiles] How bout you get ready and tell me when I can take you to school..
Miley: [She smiles lightly] Alright. Can you get me something to eat meanwhile?
Joe: [He kisses her lightly.] Another apple?
Miley: [She nods] Sure. [After that, she goes back upstairs, and changes her clothes]
Joe: [He reclines himself on the couch after retrieving the apple.]
Miley: [She brushes her teeth, and puts her hair up in a ponytail. Then she walks downstairs] Okay, I'm ready.
Joe: [He smiles at her appearance and stands up.] Jump on my back, love.
Miley: [She crosses her arms, and sticks out her bottom lip] I want my apple first..
Joe: [He tosses it to her, then whips her body on his back.] Are you done?
Miley: [She raises one finger in front of his face] One minute... [After a little bit, she swallows the last bite] Alright. Now I'm ready.
Joe: [He zooms out the door, but slows down as he reaches the school]
Miley: [She gets off his back, and kisses his cheek] Alright.. AT LEAST wish me good luck. [She says smiling]
Joe: [He kisses her passionately for a moment.] Good luck, love.
Miley: [She smiles, and walks away]

I've missed this so much, I'm glad you posted(: I was getting a little worried that Miley was gonna seriously be upset with Joe for saying he wouldn't marry her.
