@gothicchemistry What earliest settlement u talking about....hello...the earliest settlers are the Negritos and Senoi and your government is systematically killing them by taking their land away and their rights away from them...they are the real true blood of this land....and if u r talking about first civilized government it was the Kadaram(Kedah) Raja Cholan government - lembah bujang today....who the royalties are they are not pure of origin!
-
@vikramaLP what do u want to compare it with?if u trying to say they are originated from the Javanese islands, well, they are..they have their rights as a sultan because of their linage and the one who opened the earliest settlement in Malaya..
-
First of all the malays themselves know the blood of the Sultanate and royal family is not pure...they have Bugis, Siam, Hindu, Minangkabau, Parsi, Jawa....and so on...so what are they really no one knows...DARE them to give their blood for DNA testing...NEVER in 100 yrs will they give u....before creating a riot.....

@simonchandra1..true..only with the majority of the poeple, a prime minister can be elected..whether its chinese or malay or indian, the purpose must be one which is to work for the benefit of the people..i admit that there are flaws in our government and our constitution but we must have faith that someday, our country will become a strong, open and fully democratic through changes from time to time..
-
@mikihoh..as like wat u said,it happens in all country..dont point out to us alone..btw,it is malaysian businessmen who imported it from china without a complete research of its safety and chemical ingredients because its cheaper..so actions need to be taken against these companies..CCTV?we have one la..its just that our awareness of installing these cctv is not to the level that we really need it..unless u r living in the high crime neighborhood or ur shop always being the target of robbers..

@Erza5087..im stating wat i would do if im in the same situation as the prime minister..n dont start a conversation that will eventually starts with more and more question..

@gothicchemistry Lol~~~What those country did was to other country. Which country does it to their own people? Malaysia imported those toxic materials KNOWING fully its toxic. A child left lying to dead? It is unfortunate that it was captured on CCTV but what is more unfortunate is that Malaysia doesn't even HAVE those CCTV. For all we know, it happens in Malaysia too. And people start dying in MACC without logical cause? People dying under police detention without any action taken?

@Erza5087- The Royal family, state Sultan and the country's Agong (King) must be Malay because that position is reserved for the head of the Malay culture and head of Islam in Malaysia. The prime minister's post and a state's chief minister's post is filled by democratic elections. Penang has several non-malay chief ministers from the state's democratically winning party. If the majority of Malaysians have enough confidence in the ability of a non-malay, then we may have a non-malay PM
@MEGATNO1 Sorry can't agree with your naive statement. I believe almost all of the chinese know that we can't become the prime minister in malaysia for now. Lots of Chinese just want a clean and fair government.

It is simple: if you fail to do a good job, then let others try. Dictatorship will bring us to no where.
