thats the problem though. everything i had on that thumb drive was pics and videos so it prolly wouldnt work but i appreciate the offer :)

hmmm-- i might have some restore software at work for flash drive, i let you know if i find them, they might help you to restore something. i had one usb from which i got pics but they were all scrambled.. but it might help you to recover text data

yeah i hear ya. i lost all my data on my 8 gig flash drive. i had things on there im never gonna be able to get back

yeah, it was one of those days :( last week i had a pc that was corrupted by bad memory - in 8 years i never experience that and i would not believe if someone told me that it's possible, but bad memory can corrupt windows and make it useless- however, i used ERD Commander CD and i could access all data from hard disk.. it would not help for USB flash drive though :(

yeah well sometimes it happens. i fixed the problem though. for a while i thought the main problem was my hard drive and sure enough it was. i bought a new hard drive and havent had any problems since. and thanks for saying i look funny but it was the loss of all my data plus some other things that went wrong that day and that day wasnt a good day for me lol

oh yeah, usb sticks are becoming steeply cheap but also unsafe for data as well. btw you look so funny, not that i'm making fun of you, it's just as if you lost someone very dear or that something tragic happened in real life.. and that's why this vid is favorite to me. i work with pc and problems - this morning we had a guy that lost 6 months of work - by saving it all to his later failed thumb drive and no other back-ups.. now you know for the future, in future, this experience will prevent

I had the same thing happen to me. My computer crashed and I lost all the videos I had saved for one of my LPs. Took me a while to get back to where i was at.
