Romney on Abortion - 2002

Why anyone would vote for Romney for President is beyond me! This guy is an absolute phony and has flipped-flopped on so many occasions that it is hard to determine what he stands for.

Romney represents everything that is currently wrong with the Republican Party. People like Romney need to be flushed out of the RNC and we need to rid ourselves of this ' big tent ' party crap. The sooner the better.

When you make something illegal, you create a black market.

That's something we should have learned after prohibition failed in the early 20th century. You can't stop something by banning it. Making abortion illegal would feel good, but it wouldn't solve the problem you're supposedly fighting.

@MooseOfReason..... When you make something illegal you create a black market? When you make it illegal to commit murder or to steal or to counterfit money you create a black market of these things? This reasoning is stupid and how ironic you call yourself Moose of Reason.  If you make abortion exstemely illeg, sure you will have a black market, but at the same time there will be less abortions and less INFEDILITY, think about it if you can.

SunnyDaysRFun, Murder being illegal doesn't stop people from doing it. Just like a sign that says "Gun-free" or "Drug-free zone" doesn't prevent gun or drug crimes either.

@MooseOfReason. What? The hardest it is to get away with breaking the law the less likely it will be violated! Once the law is in place it does slow the number of acts that would have been commited if the law wasn't in place. Think about it, what you proport is NO LAW becasue it creates the black market?
