do not use tin foil(aluminum) if there are tomatoes in the dish, the acid in the tomatoes cause a reaction with the aluminum foil. dutch oven gloves, go the tractor supply and but welding gloves.

Do not worry about using tin foil. People have been using it for years to cook yams, baked potatoes, corn on the cobb, etc. Do you know of a place that has classes on Dutch Oven cooking? Those rolls you made looked better than any I have cooked in a conventional oven. I was drooling when you smeared butter on them. Someday when things start to get really nasty in terms of not having electricity and/or gas coming into our homes, we need to be more self-reliant and Dutch Ovens can save the day.
