This is the finale to the sixth season of DS9. The Federation and their allies, the Klingon and Romulan empires, have decided to go on the offensive against the Dominion. They decide to attack the Chin'toka system in the hopes it can be taken before the weapons grid can be activated. Meanwhile, Gul Dukat has been possessed by a Pah-Wraith and is on his way to Deep Space Nine is order to release it into the wormhole.

The song is "Mandala in the Clouds" by Bear McCreary. It was originally used in the Battlestar Galactica episode "Maelstrom".

  • It was amazing how in the end there was nothing good about Gul Dukat....and I just love the Bajoran faith and how it was able to fit in with very unreligious Star trek.

  • Yeah, the religious aspect of DS9 was great, and Dukat was a fantastic villain. Evil, but you couldn't help but like him.

  • The character of Dukat takes a lot from the very worst, most terrible figures in real-world history; especially the fact that right to the end, he firmly believes himself to be the good guy.

  • The show's way of weaving this all together was neat, esp. how Miles came up with an idea to have the weapon platforms turn on its power source. Of course, Sisko pulls an Obi Wan when the wormhole implodes - feeling a sudden "loss".

  • @Lava91point0 at the beginning of this episode he purposely breaks an artifact that has an evil wormhole alien in it and it possesses him.

  • was dukat possessed or something

  • The only character I really hate is Kai Win. That actress should've just stuck to doing the voice of the computer. Putting aside how opportunistic the character is, the actress who portrays her just always annoyed me to hell.

  • @Traip20 Never liked Ezri, personally. Jadzia was one of my favourite characters in all of Star Trek.

  • @Ravencroft77

She haven't enough time to replace her... But that Episode is still great!

  • that was a sweet video
