This is just a beautiful song. Takes me back to listening to John Peel in the nineteen eighties. Happy times.

I can't really tell what did it. But i appreciate your comment very, very much! The emotions i share for this song are so overwelding... And when you write as passionate as you do. I can really recognize myself: you share those moments of beauty with me! O! sacred melody, thy light shines far beyond my very ees!

Will do matey. I know James, my little bro was a big fan. Listening to Biff! Bang! Pow! right now. They had something too. And the Pale Saints. And Felt. Oh, and the cocteau twins. It's all amazing when music is new to you and you aren't aware of some of the influences of the bands you're listening to because you're too young. There's also something truly endearing about imperfection. Like fake tan, hair dye and implants- the digital music age is yet to touch me.
Have not heard of those bands - will give them a go - so easy to do now in the digital music age - you should give it a go - so much more great music out there because of it!

Only OMD have ever made me feel as deeply emotional about a song. I don't care that Guy Chadwick's vocals were about a shag in the back of a car, the atmosphere says more than that. This is one of my favourite ever songs. I saw them live on a few occasions and it moved me then, too. Long live Terry Bickers.

Always loved HOL - they had some great songs - Shake & Crawl - 32nd floor Christine - Marble etc were also some of my favorites - - Loved OMD too - but found much more atmospheric songs later - Try Flaming Lips - some of the later Mercury Rev - Blonde Redhead - James- Built to Spill - loads
