Looks like the Disabler is almost back to its former glory!

Okay, let me explain what's going on here. Most importantly it's inescapable without a breaker. Noob's Disabler assist is part of a combo so it cannot be avoided, and it causes a staggering hitstun. During this stagger the opponent cannot move however usually they can block, but the Disabler prevents this and Sub-Zero can follow up with a B1,2. The B1,2 gives Sub-Zero extreme frame advantage with its hitstun. Once again the opponent cannot move during hitstun and they can't block since they're Disabled. Sub-Zero can follow up with B1,2s and then a freeze once the Disabler runs out.

  • If I was Scorpion, I would have jumped. Sure, I can't block.

But jumping would result in getting knocked back by the next hit, then I could just get up and avoid being hit more...

There is an opportunity to jump RIGHT before Noob uses his disabler. It's a small window, but it's there. He could have jumped.

  • @SpadeOfAces23 The disabler is still part of the combo, there's no way he's jumping in the middle of a combo!

  • this is easy to get out of, why dont you upload a video of the computer on expert it will get out of it no problem.

  • @SiThG0D The opponent is in hit stun the whole time, there's no getting out except for maybe breakers.

  • Stop nonbelieving people. He can't jump or block, he's in hitstun ALL the time. He needs a breaker

  • @MartialArtsFights I say he does the combo again with testing if the other character could jump away from it

  • @monotikitia

Epic fail? It's the most succesful mortal kombat in years, it's what the fans wanted and they're happy.

  • @TheParnak Since when has there ever been a mk9 tag team tournament at a major?

  • This should get the pro attention praise & support it deserves for being a strategic find, demonstrating an 100% damage, only 2 bar meter tag reset combo. As a true reset combo this is absolutely inescapable damage, except for breakers (of course), has medium difficulty to pull of, and is versatile, you can trigger it just by a single sub freeze. This video holds value for anyone caring for competitive mk9 gaming. Despite the explanation, a bunch of retarded comments have found their way here..

  • is use 2 sub zero and noob in a team tag :D

  • I think this puts you on even frames so you can dragon kick, elbow dash, slide or combos with i higher priority out of it. Idno ill check later by getting my bro to mash out elbow dash as i do this,

  • @monotikitia Yea i bet u Play MvC3 where every character does 100% combos and u are in the ground 2% of the fight.
