The new video for Damn The River was directed by Luke Savage with the help of 'Fish n Clips' in Auckland.
The video is Savage's second for The Phoenix Foundation after directing the clip for This Charming Van from the band's debut album Horsepower in 2003.
The video was filmed in Auckland in April and features a time lapse of an old, cloud-gazing man who lies back and lets the world pass him by, amongst the chaos of man-made urban motorways and constructions sites.

Man is song sounds REAL kiwi as mate! I've loved this song lots but its so fun and then before you know it it's over and your replaying the song. It's always about American band's and I hate that. Some New Zealand band's play JUST AS GOOD AS THEM!
