Gibt es da auch die anderen Lieder?

@ducksoup57 I too sat here with tears in my eyes. I am deeply moved by Hotter's interpretation, his sharing, his gift to us all in his recordings. I never sang with him but know of singers who studied with him. they all said how kind and generous he was. He is the greatest interpreter of lieder that I have heard (on recordings)

HAVEING SEEN AND HEARD HOTTER PERFORM THIS SCHUBERT AS i JUST DID, I MUST TURN OFF THE COMPUTER AND REFRAIN FROM LISTENING TO MUSIC FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. I WANT TO RETAIN THE MEMORY OF THIS STUNNING EXPERIENCE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

What a delicate person Hans Hotter was ! Here, he stays sitting in a chair while singing in order not to put Quastoff uncomfortable or not to look superior (Hotter was a tall man). He always had the greatest respect for students as if they were his equals. During teaching he often said "it is not enough to say or to explain, but at a certain point you need to demonstrate". He was a superb and wonderful singer and an exceptionally gifted teacher. Thank you for posting this moving document.

What an extraordinary document! I found myself actually crying while listening to it. This is the way the grand tradition is passed on from generation to generation. What pathos and what wisdom in Hotter's Leiermann, and what marvelous tone he had in his eighties! Thank you so much for posting it.
