What the F was Dell thinking when they designed this computer? My HP Mini 110 has a ram door underneath that needs 2 screws.. It takes less than 2 minutes to have the computer booted again. This is ridiculous. All so they can make a few more bucks from factory upgrades I guess.

You rock! I have no fear of tearing into an engine or a wall, but I was a bit nervous about this. Your video made it super easy and I was finished in less than an hour. I used a credit card to get the palm rest off, and to prevent scratching the motherboard, I used a wooden cuticle stick from a nail grooming kit for removing and reassembling the various plugs. Thanks a million for putting this together.

I used this video to repair my speaker popping noise. It turned out dell had pinched the wires under the trackpad and it shorted though. Their service was terrible, your video saved me lots of headache and money.
Thanks very much!!!
is the dell mini 1010 a 10v ??

@SuperMario64N64 no, the 1010 is not a 10v (the 10v is 1011). The memory on the 1010 (which is the only mini 10 series netbook with hdmi) has the memory soldered to the main board and cannot be updated.
