@Azian2008 Not original, it's been change in China, since the Chinese had many of the Hmong change. Search, read, and visit for your self than you'll know the truth. The most original piece of the Hmong qeej are the Hmong today among General Vang Pao.

I say all khane sounds the same, Laos Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and hmong,,we all came from the same grandpa n grandma, do some research. And translate this in hmong " you don't see the water lie, your heart won't go down".

@tubroglubzog the proverb is "tsis pom dej dab,, siab tsis qhij." I might have misspelled some hmong words, but you get the idea. this proverb actually refers to the Yellow River in China where the Hmong had inhabited at one time in history. It has a meaning that if you don't see the river, you aren't satisfied.
