This is a rare look at the filming of an old McDonald's commercial. Watch for Ronald speaking out of character, and the other characters walking by in the background without their heads on.

  • 50 cents? cheap bastards! that won't even buy a small fry these days! the guy playing ronald ought to have benefitted from his status. I wonder what actors played ronald through the years. That director looked familiar. didn't he play julius kelp's meek father in the nutty professor? he's also done lots of cartoon voices, but I can't think of his name.

  • Not sure about julius kelp's meek father but he did play Ernest T. Bass on "The Andy Griffith Show". His name is Howard Morris.

  • why you uploaded this video.????

    what's your purpose???

  • No purpose, except I do have different interests.

  • Wow a whole 50 cents! Does anyone else notice there is no cents sign on the keyboaed?

  • Just after the director interviewed says "you really have to know what you're doing", someone in the background says "what are we doing?". Listen for it, it's funny!

  • i thought there was going to be some satanic shit!

  • lol I was expecting some weird conspiracy XD

  • guys, 50 cents in those those days was alot of money!! so don't think of it as cheap as it is today!!!! back in the day, the menu at mcdonalds wasn't much!!! all they had was a 15 cent hamburger, 19 cent cheeseburger, 10 cent fries, 10 cent milkshake (including chocolate vannilla and strawberry), also 10 cent root beer, 10 cent orange drink, 10 cent coke and i believe the last thing was a 20 cent coffe!!!!

  • Howard Morris aka Ernest T. Bass , very smart & funny man .

  • No? There's one on mine: ¢¢¢¢¢.

The real surprise for me was Howie Morris. Got his start with Sid Caesar, and by the time the sixties were over he had moved mostly into directing, along with some voice work.

Did you know he was "Jet Screamer", the guy on the Jetsons who sang "Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah"?

  • The customer is always the boss.

  • Yes... that is Howard Morris... and you are correct.... he did play Kelp's father in The Nutty Professor.

  • they are taking over your mind
