how can you not have any resonant heads on your drums? your never going to get the full sound out of your drums or the best sound you possibly can. all drums must have it.

are you talking about bottom heads? cuz I took them off a long time ago...but I'll put them back on if it'll sound better.

yes the "bottom heads" are called resonant heads. They make the drums resonant which gives the drum a full sound, not like stretched out trashcans. Also, on the cymbals, are you using felts in between all the cymbals? Because there should not be any metal to metal contact between the cymbal and the stand, it will damage your cymbal and making it weaker, thus making it crack a lot faster and make it sound crappier.
